Her Smile is worth it

She threw a fit, then smiled and then fell asleep. It ain't easy being 1 month old.

We are heading to the cabin tonight for a little mini vacation with Nana. I'm sure Little Miss won't be spoiled at all.

Many Firsts

Cami's first trip to the cabin.
Tiling the back splash, first big project of the year
First turtle
First fish of the year. Scott caught about a half dozen
First naked boy of the year

I'm sure some of you follow my sister blog (the guths) and know that last weekend at the cabin we had many first.  I caught a couple and thought I would share.

First day out

I went to work today for a couple of hours and then ate lunch with the girls.  It was nice to be on my owe but I did miss the little one while I was gone.  Tommie came over and watched her while I was out.  I'm very blessed to have such a great Mother-in-law.  She's always so excited to see Cami and just gushes over her.

Here is a new photo of Cami from today.  I think she changes daily.  I also think she looks a little ethnic and can't figure out where that comes because Scott and I are as white as white gets. :)

We are heading to the cabin this weekend!  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Facebook

Ok, I finally signed on to facebook. I have zero idea what I'm doing.  I basically just put my name in.  So, for all of my friends who are friends with my sister on facebook you can now contact me and not her!! Im tired of hearing about your life from her.

Happy Easter

Here is a picture of Cami Easter dress.  Camille got lots of good stuff from everyone.  We really LOVED the huge case of baby wipes that Nana and Papaw got us!

All I wanna do is SLEEP

This is Cami sleeping.  This is all she ever wants to do. We went to the Dr. today and she is now 9 lbs and is 21 1/2 inches long.  So, they are really happy that she's pretty much at her birth weight at only 2 weeks.  So, I guess all that sleeping is doing her some good.  She has also been sleeping from 10-3 and then has a bottle and goes right back to bed until 6:30 or 7.  Not to bad for a kid thats only 2 weeks old.

We are still using the formula/breast milk mix. She is eating 3oz ever 3 hours and I'm not producing enough for all of the feedings.  I'm know that I won't be able to keep this up much longer when she starts needing more milk but like the Dr. told me today at least she is still getting a little of the milk.  So, a 50/50 split isn't so bad.

I hope everyone has a Happy Easter.  We have tons of dresses in the closet so I'm hoping one will fit on Sunday! (I'm talking about Cami of course. I'll be the girl dressed in all black to hide this blubber.)

Camille's Room

I never got around to posting pictures of Cami's room before she arrived.  Here is a couple of photos of where she lays her pretty head.

Getting Better

Giving Daddy a kiss
Feed ME... Please!
Pretty baby girl
Plugged in to her light blanket

We had a rough start but things are getting better. Ms. Cami slept really well yesterday and is eating like a champ.  She is now off her light blanket and has gained 6 oz, so she's up to 8 pounds 6 oz.

I hope you enjoy the new photos!

Cami Update

Cami is now at home and has to use a "light blanket" for her jaundice. Stacey and Scott aren't getting much sleep as Cami wants to eat all of the time. (as you can tell, it's Linday doing an update!) Stacey is now supplementing Cami with some formula and is hoping that she can stop that when her milk comes in. They went to see the pediatrician yesterday and Cami looks really good except for being a little jaundiced and wanting to eat all of the time.
