Baby C

Here are some pictures of Cami last night. A lady at my moms work is working on her website to be a photographer and need a baby. Lucky for us I've got one. Cami wasn't in the best of moods because she spent all day with Gray and Coop and they wore her out!!

We are heading to the Cabin on Thursday night for the weekend. Can't wait to dip my toes in the lake water... I've been told it's as warm as a bath.

Happy 4th to all!

Blueberry festival and Bowman farm

We went to the Blueberry festival on Saturday morning.  We had blueberry pancakes, sausage and milk.  Then we went off to pick blueberries and blackberries.  It was HOT!  So, we only stayed for a couple of hours total.  Cami had fun and likes to be outside.

After the festival we went down to the Bowmans for a lit
tle visit.  I posted a picture of their little horses.  They
have crazy hair.

Tonight I'm going to make a mix berry cobbler for the Bowmans dinner tomorrow.  Cami is going to go spend some time with them and her great-grandma Bowman while Scott and I go to Malones for dinner.  Our 3rd anniversary is Wed. July 1st so we
are going to go eat a yummy dinner.

Enjoy the photo's

Hard to leave

This week is my 4th week back at work. Our schedules have figured themselves out and we are going along like a well oiled machine. We've had a couple of hiccups here and there but for the majority of it we have our routine down. In the mornings if Cami doesn't wake up on her own I wake her up no later than 6:30. This way I can give her a bottle and love on her before I leave for work at 7:10. Tommie or my mom arrive at 7:00. We talk for a brief moment, pass the baby and I'm out the door. Well... every week I have been leaving later and later. Cami is so lovable in the mornings. This morning she was in her I LOVE MY MOMMA mood. She was letting me huge and kiss on her and smiling back every time I came up for air to look at her chubby cheeks. I didn't want to pass her to Tommie but I did and then I stood in front of my daughter for 10 minutes telling her how pretty she was. I finally look up at the clock - 7:25. Crap... with one last kiss on her face and a pat on Hectors head I was out the door already missing my Cami Cakes.

Cami's first date

Last week Cami and I visited Laura and Dane. It was Cami's first date. I told Scott this and he told me that Cami wasn't having her first date until she was 17. Oh, Scott is in for a lifetime of trouble. Anyway, I can't wait for these two to grow up a little so we can have a proper play date. Dane slept the whole time and I think Cami was loving everyone giving her attention. Cami looks so big compared to Dane... he's got a little catching up to do. :)

Laura- I'm ready for you to come back to work. I was off for 8 weeks, had one week back in the office with Laura and then she had Dane. She doesn't come back to work until the first week in Aug. and that is when I go on vacation. So, it will be a total of 17 weeks without seeing each other everyday. Next time, we need to have our babies within a couple of days of each other and we can have our leave off at the same time. If we are still working for Mac we can watch his head explode. :)

Hectors home!!

Hectors finally came home today.  He is still on the mend and is taking 5 different medicines.  So, hopefully we are all done with the Vet. Hector has to stay in the kitchen because he isn't exactly well in the potty area.  He's a little sad because he wants to be with us in the family room so he sits in his cage likes he's in jail. Hey, it's got to be better than the Vet.  :)

Hector 1-more day

Ok, Hector is going to stay in the hospital 1-more day. He now has a 50/50 chance which is better than the 80/20 we got on Saturday. Then he'll be able come home with home care and on lots of meds but hopefully being at home and with lots of love he'll turn things around.

Cami's photo shoot

On the Right you'll see a list of blogs that I follow. Jessica Campbell is the women who is going to be taking Cami's pictures for the next year. If you click on her name it will take you to her blog. Scroll down a little bit and you'll run into some pictures from a couple of weeks ago that she took of Cami. The one with her and Hector made me cry this morning.

I'll let you know about Hector. Today is going to be his last day at the vet.. hopefully he had a good night and he can come home.

Update on Hector

On Saturday the vet called us and basically told us that Hector probably wasn't going to make it and that we needed to come down and make a decision.  It was awful and Scott and I were a mess. When we got to the vet Hector was what I thought better but the vet explained that he might look better on the outside but his insides were not. I couldn't give up on him so he is still in the hospital until Monday. Hopefully some miracle will happen and he'll be better by then because a decision has to be made one way or the other. Please send him your prayers.

Hectors sick again

I took Hector to the vet this morning and he is very sick. Scott found him when he got up on the kitchen floor in a pool of vomit. He couldn't walk and won't move. I took him to the vet and they are trying to save him. He has problems with his liver again... just like in early Feb. when we almost lost him. They don't know whats wrong with him and its killing me. They think it is something in our house that he is getting into that's making him this sick. I just can't figure it out. I know that Hector is getting the best care at The Animal Care Clinic. The vet met us at the hospital at 6:15 this morning and they have been working on him ever since. He on an IV, had shots and is in the baby incubator to get his temp. up.

Hector means so much to Scott and I. He is very much loved and we couldn't imagine our lives without him. Please keep him in your thoughts and pray that he can pull out of this. I'll keep you all posted.

2 month checkup

Shots today.  Scott and I went to Cami's appointment together.  Scott is such a good daddy. He was not going to miss this appointment. Now he did have to leave the check-up today when the nurse brought in a fist full of needles.  Cami screamed bloody murder when she got stuck, which is to be expected but calmed down within a couple of minutes.  After she calmed down we found daddy in the waiting room pacing and sweating bullets. He said he about lost it because he could hear her crying.  So, Scott took the rest of the day off work to be with her. Everything went fine until she woke up from her nap.  She cried for a hour straight. Scott was so worried he called the doctor because our baby doesn't cry like that.  I came home and calmed both husband and baby down.  Baby with a little rocking and the husband with a half gallon of Ben and Jerrys. Now, both are sleeping peacefully. :)

Cami is 12 pounds 13 oz and is 23.5 inches long.  She got a good report and we hope not to see the doctor again until our 4 month check-up.
