I have been trying to get Cami hair in pigtails and she spends one day with my sister and Bam she has pigtails. So today I had her in her highchair, eating, watching TV while I did her hair and I think I did a good job.

Now, I will tell you that the back was completely out by the time we got to daycare but I'm still learning.

The Beach

We took Thursday -Sunday for an actual vacation that Scott could enjoy. We went to Siesta Key one of our favorite places. You will not find a Starbucks, Chilis or Hilton within 2 miles of that beach. It's all old school. No go carts, mini-golf ...nothing but you and the beach. Scott and I love it you are forced to eat a local joints (shout out to Captain Curts) and spend time on the beach. Day and night the beaches are packed. Cami like the beach during the day but loved it at night. We had a couple sad, fat tears come down her face with a baby hand pointing for me to take her back. Vacation was Good. It's just what the doctor ordered.

She has her buckets and she was ready to hit the beach

We had the biggest ice creams ever at the Orange Octopus. See that look... she was not happy when I took it away. Girl likes her some ice cream!

Cami did really well in the ocean. She was a little too brave for me. Her and Scott took a little swim and then had to take a nap together in the afternoon. Being on the beach is hard work!
Cami is having some of Scott's berry moothie from LeLu Coffee Lounge. You can get coffee and cocktails at this cute little shop. We kept it G-rated with a smoothie and a Carmel Latte called the Carmel Wave.
Siesta Keys beach are really shallow for a good portion out so you can wade in the water. They also have sandbars really close in so at night you can easily walk out without going past your knees.
Cami during her 40-yard dash that she did every night screaming in delight down the beach. She was a hit with the beach crowd stopping and saying "HI" to everyone who passed

Lowry Park Zoo- Tampa

While Scott was stuck at his conference from 6:45 am-5pm Cami and I did some exploring. One day we went to the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa. It's a great zoo and has lot of shade, water areas and break areas for kids. Oh.. and the animals aren't too bad either. I would say that Cami like their African section the most. She liked the animals that moved around. Enjoy the pictures.

And this is what you get after a long day at the zoo!

We were in Tampa Sat-Thursday of last week. On Saturday we cruised around the harbor and saw a bunch of huge sailboats that they had brought in for a week long celebration. They were having a big festival across from the hotel that we got to enjoy. I was not a good momma on this trip and had a tendency to forget my camera. So, here are some pictures from the hotel.

She is so excited to have this ice cream bar that she was dancing around...

Then she needed one last lick before it was taken away. If you are wondering we had a bit of an attitude when momma took it from her.

Oh the fountain at the lobby. Every time we walked in our out she HAD to touch the water. By the last day she finally got the idea that you throw the penny in for a wish, not take them out!

Happy 4 year Anniversary

Happy Anniversary Scott!

I could fill up pages about how much I love you but will save that for just you. I think the thing I like the most about you is your friendship. You are a good friend to me and I love you so much for it. Thank you for being a good daddy and always putting Cami first.

I love you always.. Stacey
