Birthday party planning

Well...I'm not really sure how we are at Birthday party planning time already but I'm starting to get the "itch" for Cami's 2nd Birthday. It's going to be Sesame Street. It should probably be Dora theme but for those of you who know me know how I feel about Dora. How do you say annoying in Spanish? Anyway, I just can't believe that in 2 months from today I'll have a 2-year old! Look at that picture, she looks like such a baby. If anyone has any good Sesame Street B-day ideas let me know! It's going to be just family this time around. No big party...been there, done that!

Too young?

I think she is a little young to become a "gamer" but she really thought she was hot stuff playing that game with Cooper.

Happy Birthday Lou

Happy Birthday Lindsay Lou! Actually, I'm a day early but I don't blog on the weekends so I wanted to give my shout out now.

Linds, I love you so much. You are a great sister to me. You are always doing things for me and Cami that I will never be able to express how grateful I am. When I was in the hospital although I told you NOT to come, there you were sleeping in a chair beside my bed all night. You are one of the first people I go to for advice and I know I can always pick up the phone and call when I need someone to tell me I'm right even when I'm wrong. I know that we had a rough couple of years in our late teens but I really wouldn't know how to be me without you.

You are headstrong, focused, determined, willing and God knows you have your own opinion. But most of all you are a caring person and I thank you for always taking care of me.

Home from Philly

I was in Philadelphia last week for a conference. Thanks to Tommie and David for watching Cami for me. Yes, Scott was home but he finds it very hard to watch her when I'm gone. Please Lord don't ever let me die or that man is going to have to move back in with his momma. :)

Philly was nice although I could have been in Indianapolis for as much as I saw the city. I did however enjoy some PBR in the oldest pub in Philly.

Here is a picture of the girls I work with. The dark haired one is Kelly who I work with everyday and have become really close friends with over the years. The blond is Tammy who works in our Ohio office. I only see her a couple of times a year but we work a lot over email and phone calls together.

Now, on the the cute stuff. I snap a couple of pictures this morning of Cami just so you can see a little of our morning routine. She was up at 5:30 this morning so it made it a little easier. Usually, I wake her up at 6:30 and she says "NO" and hides under her blanket. Good times. :)

No good reason

Every year since Scott and I have been together I have made Cinnamon Rolls for Christmas morning. I tell myself that I'm going to make them from scratch and every year I find myself smacking the roll on the side of the counter. Oh well! This year Cami got to enjoy. Papaw was trying to sneak some.

Cooper and Cami are trying out her new picnic table. Coop set on it most of Christmas.
Cami got lots of Pink for Christmas. She got a baby doll set from the Bowmans and she likes to get into the baby dolls playpen. Below is a picture of Tommie and her granddaughters.

I'm out of here!

Oh, I should mention that Santa brought her some bows too!
