Cami's cute quotes

This weekend Cami was a chatter box. We went to see my sister and spend time with the boys on Saturday. After a sand fight between Cami and Cooper Cami has some serious words for Coop. Now, we could not understand a word of what she was say but boy was she laying into him all the while her little finger was out pointing at him and I may have seen her head bobbing. Don't know where she gets that. But her vocabulary is really taking off but when she gets excited or I guess mad she gets going and you can't understand anything. I thought I would list some cute stuff I heard out of her mouth this weekend.

"Comeondaddy"- Yes, its all one word and VERY country
"Oh My..I love it!"- After seeing the full size tent in our living room
"I miss papaw"- Out of the blue this morning when I was putting her in her car-seat.
"Daddy at work, Cami at work"
"I want to shower"
"School bus, School bus- Oh WOW!"
"Geen means GO"- at a stoplight
"See you Stac"- At daycare drop off this morning after Miss Pam said it.

-She can also count to 11 now although she likes to start with 7 until you tell her to start at 1
-She can sign the entire alphabet as long as someone is singing with her otherwise she gets half way and gets bored.
-We are working on our colors. When asked what color something is she says "Geen" but I've got a couple of pinks and reds out of her recently so we are improving.

Orange Leaf Yummy!

It was beautiful here yesterday. We got a taste of Spring and it was much needed. To celebrate a little warm weather Cami and I headed out to the much talked about Orange Leaf. This is a self serve yogurt shop that was started by a couple of local 20-somethings. Its a chain out of California and its a big hit here in Lexington. They are actually expanding into two more shops around town. And they did all of this on a $20k investment. It just goes to show that all you have to do is come up with the right idea and BAM! overnight sensation!

Anyway, it was great. Cami and I shared a cup for a whole $3 (your price is based on weight) Here is a picture of my little nugget sampling some of the good stuff. Oh, this was after a full day of daycare so she is a little sloppy. :)

Big thank you to Laura for snapping this pic of Cami!

I had a great day yesterday with Camille. We got to go and hang out with Dane and Laura. She played outside, ate Chick-fil-a and got to play in the play area at the mall. Cami has a big crush on Dane and she also has a crush on Laura! We spent the rest of the day watching Dora and Elmo, coloring, making a V-day card for daddy and we even hand dipped strawberries in chocolate for daddys gift. Have you ever made chocolate dipped strawberries with an almost 2-year old? A lot of work but she had a blast. She also ate 2 dipped strawberries and had chocolate from head to toe resulting in her 2nd bath of the day. :) I'm glad I got to spend the day with my special girl. Now, if I could just get her daddy to take a break from work long enough to at least have dinner with us... hopefully this big project will be over soon!

Happy V-day

I'm taking Monday off to spend with my lil' valentine. Cami is a very sweet girl. She has a smile that can make me melt in a heartbeat. She also is really coming into her own personality. Just this morning I looked at her and she made this crazy funny face at me and then started cracking up. She is a little joker and loves to laugh.

My big valentine will be working all weekend. We haven't seen much of each other with the both of us working so much. This time of year is hard since I'm traveling a lot and he has a big project at work. But one great thing about my big valentine is that every morning no mater what he gives me a kiss and tells me he loves me.

I love my family and wish everyone a very Happy Valentine's day!

Back from Baton Rouge

I mean seriously... this girl has all the power!

I'm back from a work trip to Baton Rouge. Cami has been pretty much been staying with the Bowman's from Friday night until yesterday afternoon when I picked her up. She was excited to see me and kept hugging my neck which makes me feel amazing. Scott's got a big project at work coming up so he has been working around the clock. He plans to work this weekend so it will be just me and my Cami cakes. I plan to stay home, clean house and watch plenty of cartoons.

Since Cami has been at the Bowman's her and her nanny sleep together. Let's just say that putting Cami to bed last night was a bit of a challenge and guess who was in our bed at 3:30! Tonight I'm going to be strong if she decides she needs to wake up. :)

I "heart" Kindle

I know that this post has nothing to do with Cami and I've got some good pictures to share but I keep forgetting to upload them. I've also got to get Cami saying "Bye, Bye Honey" on the Flip but my Flip is not working at the moment so stay tuned.

Anyway, I got a Kindle last week and it is fantastic if you think you're in the market.
