Family date night

This weekend is going to be full of fun. We have lots of family and friends that are going to celebrate our special girl. But last night, I wanted to do something with just us. I decided to try out the Hibachi place. You know, it's all a roll of the dice with Cami but I thought she would love it.

Well, I think she had mix emotions. She was really good while we waited but then the little Hibachi man came out. He asked "she ok with fire?" I said, "I guess we'll find out" She was not so sure about the fire. She jumped off her booster and into Scotts lap with the flames shoot up to the roof. She kept telling us that the fire was Hot and to not touch it. A lot of "No more fire" comments all throughout dinner and she was not going back in the booster. So, my sweet Scott just let her sit on his lap the entire time and she ate and ate and ate and ate. She really liked the food so maybe next time we will do dining room only.

After dinner we took her to a place that we knew would get a thumbs up-PetSmart! Although, she was not so happy with mommy when I rejected a "Baby mouse, peasss momma!"

Hola

Hola, Cami Cakes party is only 4 days away! We talk about the party every night and she tells me who is coming, about her cake etc. She thinks Hector is coming to her party and I have to tell her No and she gets disappointed. Cami is really starting to thin out. I noticed that her waist and hips are becoming very narrow. She still has some upper thigh roll action (who doesn't) but they are very small. And look at that face... she looks way older than 2!! I didn't cry at 1 but 2 is starting to get to me a little more than I like.
FYI- she likes to put her hands in front of her face when you try to take a picture now so I have to surprise her with the camera to get a picture.

Thank Goodness for Jeggings!

So, today I put a dress on Cami that came just below her butt. I didn't realize that the dress was this small until it was on her. Instead of wrestling the clothes off and putting on a new outfit at 6:00 am I tossed on some Jeggings and she looked really cute. If the jeggings stay on trend I might be able to do this with this years dresses next year. :)

Scott inspectors are at the hospital this week. Please send up a prayer for him that all will go well. He got home at 9pm last night and woke up at 3am to head back into the office. We love and are very proud of you daddy. We know you'll do great!

What do you love about the South?

I recently had to come up with an idea for a promotion at a trade show to get more people over to our booth and have a great follow-up item after the conference. The conference is called Travel South USA and it brings people who book group travel together with people from the South to make sure they include southern destinations when they sell travel. Anyway, the question we asked people at the conference was, "What do you Love about the South."

I'm pretty pleased with the outcome! But I'm more pleased that my boss was really happy and now wants us to do this at the other trade shows we attend throughout the year! It just feels good to get a high-five now and again. Have you given a high-five today??

bday invite

Per my conversation with my sister I have removed Cami's bday invitation since it has my phone and email address. I never think about stuff like that. :)

No Thanks

So, my little girl who use to eat anything is now a "No Thanks" on everything. She'll try almost anything but her reaction is to spit it out and say "yucky." Who know, I'm hoping it's just a faze. She doesn't like any veggies, no much fruit (even the can syrup kind) and is hit or miss on chicken nuggets anymore. If we took Milk out of her diet the thing would be skin and bones.

She loves Chocolate pudding...thanks Papaw!

She also wont turn down white bread. "Yum, Yum, Yum, Yum,Yum" is usually what she says when getting a piece.

Garden & Gun

I have fallen in love with a new magazine. You know how everyone gets Southern Living (everyone in the south that is) well this is way better. Southern Living is kind of old news but if you want to check out a fun hip new magazine about the south check out Garden & Gun and don't let the name fool you!

Back From HotLanta

I'm back from Atlanta. I do not have another trip for 30 day...Yippy!

While I was gone Camille got sick-shocker and I came home to a husband with the flu! My house is a crazy mess, laundry is everywhere (and still in my suitcase on my bathroom floor), there are dishes in the sink and toys coming out of the my _____. But there is no where I would rather be. Last night instead of tackling all of the above things I got home from work looked at both of my sweethearts and said, "It's time to say Goodbye to February- Ice cream night." So, I loaded both of my sick babies into the car, bought them a cone and enjoyed the night. I've got the rest of the week to get it together. :)
