We had a nice Christmas. I'm behind on putting up my pictures. I will tell you that Santa brought Cami a Dollhouse that she was excited about but not as excited as finding nail polish in her stocking. I'm off on Friday and I'm thinking about taking her to the nail shop to have her toes and nails painted. Is she too young? I think it will totally blow her mind but will see. I'm sure Scott will be against it because she might breath in the fumes!

Oh, how I have been trying to get Cami to take a picture for our Christmas Card. Last year she did great but I'm running out of time. She has this "Cheese" smile that she does and does not look at the camera while smiling. (unlike you Jackson Bixler who is a super model! ) So, I might have to pull out an old picture and call it good. Just one more thing to stress over for the holidays!

I think when I was around 8 or 9 my dad had a business meeting in San Antonio, TX and he brought the family along. One of our favorite memories was when my parents took us to Dicks Last Resort for dinner. My parents thought it would be a good place to eat and it was but you got an education along with your dinner. The waiters are rude and uncensored. My family still talks about it to this day.
So, when we saw a Dicks Last Resort in Gatlinburg I had to go again. It is a little more tame (we did have a 2 and 14 year old with us) but still just as much fun. The best part are the hats. We had tears in our eyes from laughing so hard! It was another great memory at this fun establishment.

My Dad and my father-in-law share the same birthday. This year we did a quick little getaway with the Bowmans to Gatlinburg for David's Birthday. It was a nice time and Cami enjoyed being around everyone. I'm happy that Laura and Angela got to come along too.
Next year is going to be all about Tom for his birthday. I know he will be healthy enough that we can do something grand!
