Disney Princess LIVE

On Sunday afternoon, Scott, Cami and I went to see Disney Princess Live. It's has three different princes in a broadway setting. Before we went to the show Cami got to pick a place to eat. She picked Chick-fil-A and we had to break it to her that they are not open on Sunday. Then she said lets go to McDonalds by the Hobby Lobby. (thats the clean mcdonalds) After our 4 star meal we headed downtown.

We arrived at Rupp Arena to little girls everywhere in their princess dresses. Cami though it was so cool and pointed out other girls dresses that she wanted. Then the lights went down and her mouth opened wide and she clapped her hands... and then she just set in complete silence. She was into it, hook, line and sinker. This made me extremely happy since I know what I paid for those tickets! After it was over she started to pout because she didn't want to leave. Then as we are walking up the stairs she says, "Let's go to Disney World." I think I'm going to need a vacation budget planning session to accomplish that task. With what Disney Princes Live tickets, snow cone, princes wand, 2 waters and a bag of peanuts set me back I'm a little nervous to get on that mouses home turf!

Happy Vday

Happy Valentines Day Y'all.

Cami and Scott were sick this last week so I didn't have much of a weekend. Its amazing how many toys a sick child can leave out and how many dishes a sick husband can create. We have plans to take Cami to Disney Live Princes this weekend so here is hoping we all stay well.

Cami watching a little TV while sick. She seriously sneezed 50 times on Saturday and need a new tissue each time.

Feeling better, and very happy about her Vday money from Nana and Papaw! She is always excited to put money in her piggy bank!

I need some sleep

My baking assistant. Do you see that mouth?

So, I can't sleep. Cami has been waking up a lot in the middle of the night lately. I think she doesn't need the two hour nap that daycare gives the kids but they insist that all kids have to have a 2 hour nap.. even the 4 and 5 year-olds! Anyway, even when Cami does sleep I'm not sleeping. My mind is everywhere and nowhere at the same time. So, I've been in the need to bake lately. I made some choc. banana nut bread on Monday night and I actually slept that night. So, I'm in need of sleep so I though... hum...I should bake. I have a co-worker with a birthday on Saturday so I though, I'll whip something up. But nope, I had my 12-3am sleep and then it was over. Any suggestions? I really, really need to pull in some ZZZZZZ's.

Many of you know that my dad is really struggling right now. But he is a fighter and we have hope. It's been hard but theses last couple of weeks have been awful. I'm trying to find a balance between dad, work and home. Scott has been an amazing husband. Never complaining that he is doing the majority of the work with Cami or that the house is a mess. Work has been really great and my co-worker and friend Kelly is going to a conference next week in Memphis for me so I can stay home. I want to thank all of our friends and family for the support. We have received a lot of text and calls that you all are praying for our family and it really means a lot.

I haven't broken out the camera since Christmas but here are a couple of snaps I have of Cami from my phone.
